Noted German film actress, Hansi Burg, was the life companion of esteemed filmmaker, Fritz Albers. Their romantic relationship commenced in 1925, marked by a deep emotional connection. However, due to the oppressive atmosphere created by the German Nazi government, the couple decided to part ways in 1935.
In 1938, Burg fled to Switzerland, where she later relocated to London, seeking refuge from the tumultuous political climate. Shortly after her departure, she married Norwegian national, Erich Blydt. Albers, on the other hand, remained in Germany, where he continued to work in the film industry.
After the war, Burg returned to Germany in 1946, reuniting with Albers. The couple resumed their life together, sharing a deep affection for each other. Albers passed away in 1960, leaving Burg to carry on without her beloved partner. Fifteen years later, in 1975, Burg's own life came to a close, bringing an end to their enduring love story.
