Hayley Marie Norman is a talented American actress, born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, to a retired baseball player father and a mother of Russian, German, and distant Dutch descent. Her mother's side of the family boasts a rich history in the entertainment industry, with her great-grandfather being a production manager and assistant director, and her great-uncle an actor, best known for his role in the classic film "It's a Wonderful Life".
Norman's exceptional artistic talent earned her the prestigious California Arts Scholar distinction, a honor she received not once, but twice. She further honed her skills at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Upright Citizens Brigade, becoming proficient in both dramatic and comedic acting.
Hayley's breakthrough performance came in Chris Rock's "Top Five" (2014),where she held her own alongside Hollywood's most iconic comedians. The film's success led to a hot commodity status at the Toronto International Film Festival, prompting Paramount Studios to purchase it and include it in the DGA's annual The Contenders event.
In addition to her film work, Norman co-produces and stars in the semi-scripted online series "Hello Cupid", which has garnered critical acclaim and has been named an official selection at the TriBeCa Film Festival and one of the "Top 5 Great Web Series You Should Be Watching Now" by Vulture.
Throughout her career, Norman has appeared in a range of films and television shows, including "Fired Up", "Hancock", "Our Family Wedding", "Norbit", "New Girl", "Bones", "The Exes", "CSI: NY", "CSI: Miami", "Studio 60", and many more. A self-proclaimed fan of the blaxploitation genre, Norman is a huge fan of Pam Grier and has often spoken about her admiration for the films of John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands. She is also a classically trained dancer and a long-time vegan and animal rights activist.
