Noted Chinese television personality and actor, He Jiong, boasts an impressive educational background, having graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Prior to pursuing a career in the performing arts, He Jiong worked as a teacher-counselor in the Arabic studies department from 1998 until 2008.
He Jiong's television career began at China Central Television, where he hosted the popular children's program "Big Windmill." However, his most notable and enduring role is that of host on the long-running Hunan Satellite TV program "Happy Camp," a position he has held for an impressive 20 years.
In a unique and unprecedented move, He Jiong's wax figure was unveiled on the "Happy Camp" program in September 2014, as part of an arrangement with Madame Tussauds Shanghai. What's more, He Jiong made history by personally participating in the creation of his own wax figure, making him the first artist in the world to do so.
