Heather Ann Gottlieb, a talented individual who identifies as She/They, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. From a young age, she was drawn to the world of performing arts, and at the tender age of 10, she began her journey in community theatre, gracing the stages of esteemed institutions such as Phoenix Theatre, Greasepaint, Metro Arts, and TheaterWorks.
As she matured, her passion for the craft only grew stronger, and at the age of 15, she received the prestigious AriZoni Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role (Children's Theater),a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication.
Her academic pursuits led her to Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 2015. During her time at the university, she was recognized for her outstanding achievement in playwriting by the esteemed Beth Henley, who awarded her the department's highest honor.
In addition to her impressive theatrical credentials, Heather Ann Gottlieb is also the founder of the popular feminist podcast "Dirty Girl," which launched the WhoHaha Podcast Network in 2018. This platform has provided a vital space for women and non-binary individuals to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives, promoting a culture of empowerment and inclusivity.
