Biography

Heather Hale is a multifaceted entertainment professional with over 200 hours of produced credits, earning her a prestigious reputation in the industry. With a diverse range of accomplishments, she has directed, produced, and co-written numerous projects, including the million-dollar thriller "Absolute Killers" (2011) and the $5.5 million dollar Lifetime Original Movie "The Courage to Love" (2000).

As an author, Heather has published two books: "How to Work the Film & TV Markets: A Guide for Content Creators" (2017) and "Story$elling: How to Develop, Market and Pitch Film & TV Projects" (2019). Her expertise has also been featured in NATPE's "How to Pitch TV" blog articles and profiles.

Ms. Hale has held various leadership roles, including Industry Liaison for the 2013 American Film Market, Vice President of Event Programming for NATPE, and keynote speaker, teacher, and workshop facilitator at numerous film and TV markets, festivals, and writers workshops. She has also directed, produced, and written commercials, infomercials, and educational content.

As a consultant and educator, Heather has taught popular webinars and online classes for the Writers Store, Screenwriters University, and Stage 32. She is a member of The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (The "TV Academy") and ShowBiz Mensans.

Ms. Hale is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television (with an emphasis on Directing) from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with an expected graduation date of June 2023.
