Heather Elizabeth Morris is a talented American actress, dancer, and producer who was born in Thousand Oaks, California. Raised in Arizona, she began dancing at the tender age of one and spent her childhood days dreaming of becoming a star. As a natural performer, she would record herself on her parents' old tape recorder and even performed Britney Spears at her middle school talent show.
In 2003, Heather packed her bags and headed to Los Angeles to pursue her dance career. She competed on the Arsenio Hall Variety Show, Star Search, and in 2006, her talent earned her a spot in the top 40 on FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. After spending only two semesters at Arizona State University, Heather officially moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and landed her first dance job as Beyoncé's backup dancer on 'The Beyoncé Experience' World Tour.
Heather's incredible dancing skills also landed her a spot on Beyoncé's iconic 'Single Ladies' Tour in 2009. Throughout her career, she has performed in numerous film and TV productions, including Ravens Home, GLOW, Swingtown, Bedtime Stories, and Fired Up.
In addition to her dancing career, Heather has also honed her acting skills by studying at the Meisner school for Acting "Playhouse West" in Los Angeles. She was given the opportunity to audition for Ryan Murphy in the upcoming Fox comedy Glee and landed the role of "Brittany S. Pierce" due to her exceptional dancing abilities. Heather and her cast won the SAG Award for Ensemble Comedy in 2010.
Morris has also co-written and appeared in a January 2011 video for the comedy website Funny or Die, "Nuthin' But A Glee Thang" a parody of "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" by Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg. She is famous for her work in productions like the Blue Sky franchise Ice Age and Harmony Korine's feature Spring Breakers.
As an Executive Producer, Heather is involved in The Bystanders Podcast, produced by Black Label Media and starring Jane Lynch, Kristin Chenoweth, Oscar Nunez, and Michael Hitchcock. She currently plays Judy Maxon on CBS's hit comedy So Help Me Todd alongside Skyler Astin and Marcia Gay Harden.
