With her extensive travels and cultural exposure, Heidi developed a strong passion for the arts, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California's School of Theatre. During her time at USC, Heidi had the privilege of studying under notable artists such as Anna Deavere Smith and Frank Condon. Her theatre credits include co-starring with Judith Ivey and Greg Germann in "The Rimers of Eldritch," directed by Lanford Wilson at La Mama Theater Club, "Spring Awakening," directed by Michael Arabian at The Odyssey Theater, and "Whores!" at The Hollywood Actors Theater, for which she received the H.A.T.
