Born in West London, Taylor's passion for acting was evident from a young age. She was an active member of the Surrey Youth Theatre and National Youth Theatre of Great Britain during her teenage years. Her dedication to her craft led her to attend the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA),where she completed a three-year course. Throughout her career, she has accumulated numerous theatre and live-action film credits.
Taylor's extensive theatre repertoire includes notable roles such as Tess in Wendy Wasserstein's The Sisters Rosensweig at The Old Vic, directed by Michael Blakemore, alongside Janet Suzman and Maureen Lipman; Killing Him at The Pleasance, the Edinburgh Festival, featuring Alexander Armstrong and Jez Butterworth; Eliza Dolittle in Pygmalion, for which she received a nomination for the Evelyn Case Award for Best Actress at the Long Beach Playhouse; Masha in Three Sisters; Maria in Westside Story; the Queen in Cymbeline; Simone in Marat Sade; and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.
