Following this early success, Handloegten ventured into the world of television, creating a range of TV plays and crime thrillers that showcased his versatility as a filmmaker. His impressive repertoire also includes notable features such as "Learning to Lie" and "Summer Window", which solidified his position as a rising talent in the industry.
Moreover, Handloegten co-wrote the script for the internationally acclaimed film "Good Bye, Lenin", further cementing his reputation as a skilled and innovative screenwriter.
Currently, Handloegten is one of the three show runners of the critically acclaimed series "Babylon Berlin", working alongside Achim von Borries and Tom Tykwer to create, write, and direct this groundbreaking show.
