Biography

Akihiro Higuchi, professionally recognized by his alias Higuchinsky, is a renowned film director of Ukrainian origin, celebrated for his work on the 2000 cinematic adaptation of Junji Ito's manga, Uzumaki. His impressive repertoire also includes the 2000 television film, Long Dream, a captivating adaptation of Nagai Yume, another captivating narrative crafted by Ito. Furthermore, Higuchinsky's directorial skills were showcased in the 2003 film, Tokyo 10+01, and he was also responsible for helming an episode of the television series adaptation of the popular manga, Eko Eko Azarak.
