Hugh Griffiths, a distinguished authority in his domain, occupied the prestigious position of Head of the Countering Illicit Trafficking–Mechanism Assessment Project (CIT-MAP) at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI),a preeminent global think tank devoted to the investigation and resolution of conflicts, as well as the advancement of international peace and security.
As part of his multifaceted role at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI),Griffiths concurrently served as a seconded expert with the United Nations Panel of Experts, a prestigious and highly specialized group comprising internationally renowned experts.
