Humberto G. Garcia's life journey began in 1955, a pivotal year that marked the birth of a remarkable individual in the San Felipe section of the City of Del Rio, Texas, a place that would serve as the backdrop for his formative years. As he navigated the challenges of adolescence, Garcia's early adult life was characterized by a period of extended labor as a migrant farm worker, a grueling experience that would ultimately shape his perspective and inform his future endeavors. However, it was not until 1972 that Garcia achieved a significant milestone, graduating from high school and thereby paving the way for the next chapter of his academic pursuits. This momentous occasion marked the beginning of a new era in Garcia's life, as he embarked upon a path of higher learning, ultimately culminating in his enrollment at the University of Texas at Austin. There, he would go on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Government in 1975, an impressive achievement that was all the more remarkable given his remarkably young age of 19.
Following the culmination of his undergraduate studies, Garcia proceeded to work for the Tandy Corporation in Austin for a period of one year, during which he gained valuable experience and skills before pursuing his legal education at the esteemed University of Texas School of Law.
Upon successfully completing his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1978, Garcia returned to his hometown of Del Rio, where he began his career as a practicing attorney, dedicating himself to honing his skills in the legal profession for a span of six years.
Subsequently, Garcia made the decision to relocate to San Antonio, where he has since practiced as a litigator specializing in civil cases for a remarkable duration of over a quarter of a century.
Noted attorney, Garcia, has successfully navigated the legal landscape, while concurrently nurturing his ardor for golf, ultimately ascending to the of rank professional golfer in the year 2006. Throughout his career, he has participated in a multitude of qualifiers for the esteemed Champions Tour, as well as various mini tours, consistently demonstrating his skill and dedication to the sport.
In addition to his impressive golfing credentials, Garcia has also cultivated a passion for writing, with the publication of his inaugural literary work, Mustang Miracle, serving as a testament to his burgeoning talent. Having recently bid farewell to full-time legal practice, Garcia is now devoting himself to his writing endeavors, with the ambitious goal of completing his second book in the near future.
