Noted Egyptian thespian of Circassian heritage, born in the vibrant city of Cairo to a family of nobility, with his esteemed grandfather, Muhammad Pasha Fahmy, serving as the esteemed head of the Shura Council, his father, Mahmoud Pasha Fahmy, occupying the position of secretariat of the Shura Council, and his grandmother, the illustrious Amina El Manasterly, proudly owning the majestic Manasterly Palace.
He pursued higher education at the prestigious High Cinema Institute, graduating in 1963, and furthered his knowledge by studying the art of direction in the United States at the renowned University of California.
