Vicki Lynch, later known as Hyapatia Lee, was born with a passion for the performing arts, which would eventually take her on a journey to become a renowned actress, dancer, and adult film star.
By 1977, Hyapatia was already making a name for herself on stage, performing at esteemed theaters such as the Black Curtain Dinner Theater, Footlite Musicals, and Indianapolis Civic Theater. Her talents didn't go unnoticed, and she soon found herself featured regularly as a dancer at the popular Red Garter Lounge.
In 1979, Hyapatia's big break came when she won the Miss Nude Galaxy contest in Roselawn, Indiana. This victory led to a successful career in cover and centerfold modeling, and she went on to win the contest again in 1981.
Feeling empowered by her newfound fame, Hyapatia decided to take the leap and appear in an adult film. She wrote the script for her first movie, in which she also starred, and soon discovered a knack for directing, producing, and even contributing to the musical score.
Hyapatia's talent and charisma made her one of the most popular stars in the history of adult films, and she chose to appear in only a select few high-budget productions. One of her most notable roles was in the half-a-million-dollar production, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury.
Throughout her career, Hyapatia received numerous awards and accolades, including induction into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 1993, the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Free Speech Coalition in 1995, and several other awards from the adult film industry.
After retiring from the adult film industry, Hyapatia pursued her passion for music, releasing two albums and performing with her band Double Euphoric. She also began writing music and teaching traditional ceremonies, singing, and speaking Cherokee with the Lost River Band of the Cherokees in Mitchell, Indiana.
In 2005, Hyapatia was honored with the title of Blessed Woman for the Lost River Band of the Cherokees, and she went on to share her knowledge and wisdom with the world through her Native Strength books, released in 2016. In 2017, she began production on the Native Strength documentary series, which explores the ancient wisdom given to Native Americans by the Star People.
Throughout her remarkable journey, Hyapatia Lee has proven herself to be a talented, multi-faceted individual with a passion for performance, music, and spirituality.
