Iman Vellani is a talented Canadian actress of Pakistani descent, who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry with her portrayal of Kamala Khan, the protagonist of the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel, released in 2022.
Notably, Vellani is set to reprise her role as Kamala Khan in the upcoming film The Marvels, scheduled for release in 2023.
Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Vellani's early life took a dramatic turn when she moved to Canada at the tender age of one, where she was raised in the Ismaili faith, a branch of Shia Islam.
Vellani's academic journey began at Unionville High School in Markham, Ontario, where she eventually graduated.
