Ingrid Price, a talented and multifaceted individual, initially harbored aspirations to pursue a career in anthropology, only to find herself inadvertently earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre instead.
With a passion for the entertainment industry, Price has been actively involved in the field since 1980, primarily excelling as a costume designer for film and television productions. Her impressive portfolio boasts an array of notable works, including appearances on popular television series such as Nurse Jackie, Lights Out, and the first eight seasons of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as well as numerous other series, films, television movies, music videos, and plays.
As a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) locals 829 and 764, Price has consistently demonstrated her dedication to her craft. Her contributions to the industry have not gone unnoticed, as she was honored as a New York Women in Film and Television 2011 Designing Women award recipient for her work on the Nurse Jackie wardrobe, hair, and makeup team.
Beyond her accomplishments in costume design, Price has also ventured into screenwriting, with her first screenplay meeting its demise after being optioned twice. Undeterred, she co-authored a second screenplay with Davis Hall, which ultimately transformed into the short film Mother's House. More recently, Price produced another award-winning short film, In the Blind.
Currently residing in New York, Price continues to be an integral part of the entertainment industry, leaving an indelible mark on the world of costume design and beyond.
