Irene Ziegler is a multifaceted creative force, exceling as an actor, author, voice over talent, and playwright. Born and raised on a serene lake in pre-Disney central Florida, Irene drew inspiration from her idyllic childhood surroundings to pen her acclaimed debut novel, Rules of the Lake, and its sequel, Ashes to Water. Additionally, she has co-edited eight esteemed collections of monologues, published by Smith & Kraus. Her own play, Rules of the Lake, garnered the prestigious Mary Roberts Rinehart Award in Drama, and her works have been internationally produced.
Beyond her impressive filmography, Irene's credits also include G.I. Jane, The Vernon Johns Story, and Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder. She has lent her voice to a multitude of documentaries and TV/radio commercials, and has built a strong foundation in regional theatre.
