Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Amara's love for acting and singing was discovered when she was just four years old. She began auditioning in elementary school and was soon cast in leading roles in community theatre, independent films, and national Broadway tours. As a classically trained singer, Amara has a five-plus octave range and has studied with contemporary vocal coaches for over a decade. She studied film at NYU and music at Berklee College of Music.
