Ishu Patel is a renowned Indian animation film director, producer, and educator who has dedicated his life to the art of animation and photography, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
Born in Gujarat, India, Patel embarked on his academic journey at the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Baroda, where he laid the foundation for his future success. He then pursued his graduate studies in Visual Communication at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, further honing his skills.
Patel's thirst for knowledge took him to the Basel School of Design in Switzerland, where he advanced his Graphic Design skills, broadening his creative horizons. His academic pursuits were complemented by a Rockefeller Foundation Scholarship, which granted him the opportunity to work at the National Film Board of Canada, a country that would become a significant part of his professional life for over two decades.
