J. Elaine is a talented performer with a extensive background in Broadway productions, renowned for her impressive comedic timing and scene-stealing roles. She has taken on iconic characters such as "Lily St. Regis" in the Broadway revival of Annie, opposite the esteemed Jane Lynch, and "Cynthia" in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, earning her an Astaire Award Nomination for Excellence in Dance. Her notable Broadway credits also include the revival of A Chorus Line, The Wedding Singer, Flower Drum Song, Sweet Charity, Wonderful Town, and Miss Saigon.
J. Elaine made her feature film debut in the 2010 movie Morning Glory, playing the role of "Lisa Bartlett" alongside Rachel McAdams. She continued to appear on the big screen in St. Vincent (2014) alongside Bill Murray, Before I Disappear (2014),and the critically acclaimed documentary Every Little Step (2008),which chronicles the emotional audition process for the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line.
