Jack O'Connell, a talented individual with a strong background in the performing arts, initially made his professional debut on stage in Stephen Daldry's esteemed production of An Inspector Calls. He subsequently further honed his craft by touring with Mike Bartlett's critically acclaimed production of Medea, as well as appearing in the National Tour and West End run of The Full Monty. In addition, he has made notable appearances on screen in the popular medical drama Casualty and in Matt Smith's final episode and Christmas Special of the beloved science fiction series Dr. Who.
Notably, Jack's breakthrough television role was in the adaptation of J.P. Harley's novel, The Go-Between, directed by Pete Travis. He portrayed the leading role in this production, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Jack's impressive resume also includes his portrayal of Young Beowulf in the ITV series Beowulf, which aired on the Esquire Channel in the United States. Furthermore, he played the role of Lubko in the feature film Bitter Harvest, which was filmed on location in Kiev, Ukraine, and Pinewood Studios.
In addition to his work in television and film, Jack spent several weeks in Budapest shooting the Martin Koolhoven feature film Brimstone, starring Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce.
