Biography

Jack Wall is a renowned ASCAP award-winning and BAFTA nominated composer, celebrated for his cinematic scores in popular video game franchises such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II, III, & IV, Mass Effect I & II, the Myst series, Jade Empire, and others.

Wall is notable for his work on the Call of Duty series, particularly Black Ops II, which received the Best Video Game Score Award at the ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards. He has also collaborated with Treyarch Studios and Activision on Black Ops III and IV, crafting scores that combine futuristic hybrid sounds, homages to classic WWII orchestral music, and big band and swing numbers.

In addition to his work on Call of Duty, Wall has composed scores for other notable franchises, including Mass Effect, which combines '80s electronica, synthetic instrumentation, and futuristic atmospheres. The soundtrack won numerous accolades and achieved cult status with fans. Wall received British Academy (BAFTA) and Spike TV nominations for his work on Mass Effect 2.
