Jack Yang, a multifaceted Canadian/American artist, has dedicated the past eight years to pursuing his passions in acting, modeling, and film. His remarkable career in modeling and commercial acting was merely the beginning, as his love for art soon led him to explore the world of film directing and photography at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
With a thirst for knowledge and a desire to hone his craft, Jack furthered his studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he discovered his true calling. Two years of intensive theatrical training only fueled his passion for the art form, and upon graduating from the Academy, his professor bestowed upon him an instant scholarship to study at the South Coast Repertory Theater's professional conservatory.
This esteemed institution proved to be a valuable incubator for Jack's talents, as he refined his skills and prepared himself for the demands of the industry. His hard work and dedication soon paid off, as he landed four national commercials, a worldwide print campaign for Skechers, roles in three movies, including the critically acclaimed "The Seat Filler," produced by the renowned Will Smith, and the highly anticipated Playstation 2 game, "True Crime: Streets of L.A."
In the latter game, Jack takes on the lead role of Nick Kang, a character that gamers will be able to control as they navigate the gritty streets of Los Angeles in a GTA-style crime drama. The past two years have been particularly fruitful for Jack, with guest appearances in hit television shows such as Law and Order: SVU, CSI Miami, Scrubs, and Grey's Anatomy, which have all served as a springboard for his future leading man roles.
With his diverse range of experiences and impressive credentials, Jack Yang is undoubtedly a talented and versatile artist who is poised to make a lasting impact in the entertainment industry.
