Kent Fuher is a remarkably skilled and accomplished female impersonator, boasting an impressive repertoire of hilarious characters that have audiences in stitches wherever he performs. His iconic characters, including Patty Kitty Carter, Miss Beverly Wilshire, and Sister Strawberry Margarita, to name just a few, have become synonymous with sidesplitting comedy and unforgettable entertainment.
In 1990, Kent was a mainstay on the Main Stage at Santa Monica, California's renowned THE SECOND CITY, where he shared the stage with none other than Chris Barnes (THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW) in an improv style known as The Harold. This marked the beginning of a fruitful partnership that would see Kent go on to join the improv comedy team HIGHVOLTAGE for a series of comedy club engagements.
However, it soon became apparent that Kent's immense talents could not be contained within the confines of the small stage, and so he embarked on a new creative journey. He wrote, directed, produced, and starred in his own one-man/woman show, ENTERTAIN ME!, which catapulted Kent to new heights of success.
The show's popularity was fueled by Kent's sidesplitting female characters, laugh-out-loud monologues, riotous song parodies (Madonna's Vague was a particular showstopper),and the dry wit of his hostess character, JACKIE BEAT. The result was a sell-out show that consistently drew packed houses.
Kent's impressive credentials did not stop there. He soon branched out into the world of film, where he has starred in two movies, playing no less than three roles. In the 1993 film GRIEF, Kent took on dual roles, playing both Harvey (as himself) and Jo (as JACKIE BEAT).
