His most notable role to date is perhaps his portrayal of Billy in the 2013 comedy film "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa", where he brought to life the character of the mischievous and energetic grandson of Johnny Knoxville's character.
Prior to this, Nicoll gained recognition for his role as Fernarnd in the 2011 animated film "Arthur", where he lent his voice to the character of the kind and gentle friend of the titular character.
