Jacqueline Feather, a native of New Zealand, has made a name for herself as a talented screenwriter, with a vast array of credits to her name.
Her impressive portfolio includes the likes of Malice in Wonderland (1985),The King and I (1999),and Kung Fu Killer (2008),among many others.
But Jacqueline's talents extend far beyond the world of screenwriting. She is also a Jungian Analyst in private practice, offering her expertise to clients seeking guidance and insight. Additionally, she serves as a Training Analyst at the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California.
Born to art teacher parents in New Zealand, Jacqueline's creative inclinations were evident from a young age. Her grandfather, a theatre critic for National Radio, likely played a significant role in nurturing her passion for the arts.
After completing her B.F.A. at the University of Auckland in 1976, Jacqueline made the bold decision to move to the United States in her early twenties. There, she embarked on a 25-year career as a solo screenwriter and as a member of the esteemed Feather & Seidler writing team, alongside Academy Award-winning writer David Seidler.
Jacqueline's academic pursuits took her to the Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Ph.D. in Mythological Studies with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology between 2001 and 2008. She then underwent six years of analytic training, further honing her skills as a Jungian Analyst.
Today, Jacqueline continues to write, while also practicing as a Jungian Analyst/Depth psychotherapist in Ojai, California. She is also a Training Analyst at the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California, sharing her expertise with others and furthering her own understanding of the human experience.
