Jadiel's academic background is equally impressive, having received a full-ride scholarship to Toronto Metropolitan University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Film Cinema Studies with honours in 2022. His academic pursuits were inspired by genre actors and filmmakers, such as Michael B. Jordan and John Krasinski, who have made a lasting impact on the industry.
As a creator and entrepreneur, Jadiel has founded Istmo Productions, a production company dedicated to producing high-concept, entertaining, and enlightening sci-fi thriller media. His company's mission is to create content that embodies the Latin phrase "Vita Brevis, Ars Longa," or "Life is brief but art is long lasting."
In recent years, Jadiel has received several accolades for his work, including the $750,000 Rogers-BSO Development fund for a sci-fi comedy TV series he created in 2022.
