Biography

Jaime Velez Soto, a native of Brooklyn, New York, embarked on a transformative journey that would take him from the vibrant streets of the city to the dynamic world of television and film.

At the tender age of 14, Jaime ventured to Florida, driven by an unwavering passion for the entertainment industry. By 16, he was already taking the first steps towards realizing his dreams, exploring the vast landscapes of the industry on his own.

After completing high school, Jaime's path diverged slightly as he served the public as a firefighter for over four years. During this time, he also had the unique opportunity to serve as a knight at Medieval Times dinner theater show in Kissimmee, Florida, adding unexpected but invaluable experiences to his narrative.

However, Jaime's narrative was destined to take a turn into the iconic Nickelodeon Studios, where he secured an internship that marked the beginning of his behind-the-scenes involvement in beloved childhood shows such as "Double Dare 2000," "Taina," "Slime Time Live," "G.A.S.," and "Noah Knows Best."

Under the leadership of iconic directors like Kim Fields and Chuck Vinson, Jaime absorbed skills and lessons that would shape his trajectory in the industry as a director.
