Jake L. Reid, a talented filmmaker, was born in Bristol, sharing the same alma mater as the renowned Hollywood legend, Cary Grant. Prior to embarking on his cinematic journey, Jake pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Filmmaking at the University of the West of England.
Jake's passion for storytelling led him to write and direct his critically acclaimed debut feature film, The Antwerp Dolls, which garnered widespread recognition and accolades. To bring his vision to life, Jake founded Liberal Region Productions, enabling the production of his debut feature. The film made its way to esteemed film festivals, including the Garden State Film Festival and the Golden Door International Film Festival.
Jake's remarkable talent did not go unnoticed, as he was nominated for the prestigious International Achievement Award for Best Director in 2016. Additionally, he has directed several short films, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled and innovative filmmaker.
In 2018, Jake embarked on the next chapter of his career, focusing on the development of several feature films, including Bharal, starring the talented Sebastien Foucan and Kelsey Grammer. This new venture marks an exciting milestone in Jake's journey as a filmmaker, as he continues to push the boundaries of storytelling and cinematic excellence.
