Jamee Natella is a renowned producer with a rich and diverse career spanning multiple decades. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she attended the prestigious Chicago Academy for the Arts, where she honed her skills and laid the foundation for her future success.
At the tender age of 17, Jamee made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California, in 1998. This pivotal move marked the beginning of her journey from acting to behind-the-scenes production work. She quickly gained valuable experience by working at various production companies and local film studios, including Warner Brothers and Touchstone Pictures.
Jamee's early career was marked by a series of significant milestones. In 1995, she was approached by Benicio Del Toro to executive produce his directorial debut short film, "Submission," which went on to earn an official selection at the prestigious International Venice Film Festival in 1997. The film's success opened doors to new opportunities, and Jamee was soon appointed head producer for the critically acclaimed Japanese talk show, "Teatime," for Tokyo Broadcasting System.
Over the years, Jamee has developed a unique blend of experience and expertise, having worked extensively in both the Japanese and Los Angeles markets. This expertise ultimately led her to establish her own global production company, Blueyed Pictures, which has offices in Japan, London, and Los Angeles.
Since its inception, Blueyed Pictures has produced award-winning work for a diverse range of clients, including advertising agencies such as ATTIK, FCB, BBDO, JWT, and Denzu Japan, as well as major brands like Virgin Enterprises, Nestle', Pioneer Electronics, "got milk?", Toyota, and Pepsi. Jamee's work has been recognized and celebrated with prestigious awards from CLIO, Telly, FWA, Webby, Cannes Lions, and the NY Festival's International TV, Cinema & Radio Advertising Awards.
Throughout her career, Jamee has been driven by a passion for producing projects that inspire and delight audiences around the world. Her feature film credits include "Chilly Christmas," "Opposite Day," "Tekken," "Baby Geniuses" 3, 4 & 5, and "Love is the Drug." She is currently in pre-production on her next feature film for Eone Entertainment and has a new children's book series, "I Am Sam," for Penguin Young Readers, set to be released later this year.
