Noted thespian James Glyn embarked upon a classical acting journey, commencing his theatrical pursuits with the esteemed National Youth Theatre in 2016. Subsequently, he honed his craft at The Boris Schukin Theatre Institute in Moscow, where he immersed himself in the rich cultural heritage of Russian theatre. Following his Moscow sojourn, Glyn further refined his acting abilities at The Poor School in London, a renowned institution that has launched the careers of numerous notable actors.
As a member of BAFTA Cymru, James Glyn has had the distinction of playing lead roles in several notable productions. One such endeavour was the award-winning short film The C.R.O.W.D., which garnered widespread critical acclaim. Additionally, Glyn appeared in the provocative short How to Take a Nude, a film that premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and went on to screen at the iconic BFI IMAX. Furthermore, How to Take a Nude was selected for the BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying London Short Film Festival, a testament to its artistic merit and technical excellence.
