James McCauley's life story is deeply rooted in the intriguing town of Roswell, New Mexico, where he was born to a father who was a pilot in the Air Force and a mother who was an English teacher. Following his family's departure from military life, they relocated to Connecticut, where he attended high school, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
After graduating, James went on to attend SUNY at Purchase, where he became an integral part of the school's social circle, earning him the affectionate nickname "one of the Purchase Mafia".
Following his time at Purchase, James has resided in New York, where he has made a name for himself in the film industry, appearing in a multitude of movies. His most notable achievement is the short film "Our Hero" (1996),which he co-wrote, co-directed, co-produced, and acted in. This impressive feat earned the film a Bronze Award at WorldFest Houston and a Finalist spot in the 18th Annual Telly Awards.
As a co-founder of the production company MCC FILMS, James has solidified his position as a talented and accomplished individual in the world of film.
