Koko B. Ware, a vibrant and aerial wrestler, was a constant presence in the WWF from 1986 to 1993. During this period, he participated in numerous major Pay-Per-View events, including Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble.
As a jobber, Koko's primary role was to provide an opportunity for other wrestlers to shine, often losing matches and helping to elevate the WWF's talent. Despite his extensive losing streak, Koko maintained his popularity throughout most of his career.
One of his most notable matches took place at Survivor Series 1988, where he competed in the main event alongside Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage's 5-man team. Koko was renowned for his exceptional high-flying abilities, and his signature move was a devastating dropkick from the top turnbuckle.
Koko's distinctive appearance included multi-colored hair, and he rarely ventured to the ring without his faithful pet parrot, Frankie. His remarkable resilience was exemplified by his hard head, which proved impervious to his opponents' attempts to harm him by ramming his head into the top turnbuckle.
Legendary wrestling commentator Gorilla Monsoon often remarked on Koko's opponents' failed attempts to injure him, stating, "(Koko's opponent) didn't do his homework." In his final year in the WWF, Koko formed a tag team with the late Owen Hart, known as High Energy, showcasing his high-flying prowess.
