Jamie, a native of Los Angeles, rose to prominence as one of the most renowned American professional bicycle racers of all time. Following his illustrious career in the sport, Jamie pursued higher education, enrolling in filmmaking and theatre programs at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Subsequently, he founded his own commercial production company, where he penned and directed over fifty local and national advertising campaigns.
However, when the commercial actors' union went on strike in the year 2000, Jamie seized the opportunity to shift his focus towards documentary filmmaking, never to return to the commercial world. He has since worked extensively as a writer/director in television, theatre, and film. Notably, Jamie has served as the Artistic Director of the Atwater Playhouse in Los Angeles for an impressive seventeen years.
Jamie's latest feature film, Trickster, garnered widespread acclaim, winning eleven major awards across seven countries.
