Jan Antonín Duchoslav, a Czech actor and moderator, was born on May 1, 1965, in Prague. Despite not completing his high school education, he has had a diverse and successful career. During his military service, he was sentenced to ten months in prison for bullying, but was released after just 19 days due to President Husák's amnesty.
Throughout the 1980s, Duchoslav made a living by working various jobs, including as a props person, pusher, businessman, producer, ski instructor, and illuminator. He has been married and divorced, and has two sons, Antonín (born 2008) and Jan (born 2012),with his ex-wife Klára Stibůrková, a lawyer.
Duchoslav has been a long-time performer at the Radek Brzobohatý Theater in Prague and is best known for his roles as Viky Cabadaj in the film Sněženky a machři, a Turk in Rafťáky, a policeman in 2Bobulí, Viktor Hofman Jr. in the film Surgery in the Rose Garden, Miky in the series Third Floor, and the clumsy head of a gas station in the sitcom of the same name. He has also appeared as "šmejda" in the series Doctors from the Beginnings, and had a serial partner in Dita Hořínková, with whom he also starred in the sitcom Benzínka.
In addition to acting, Duchoslav has also worked as a moderator, hosting talk shows such as TV Pětka's show with Iveta Bartošová, as well as the show Bulvárek. He also hosted the competition Closely Watched Train on TV Relax. Furthermore, he served as the Winter Inspector of Televizní noviny, where he visited ski resorts and provided information on their quality.
