JaNae was born on May 23rd in the vibrant city of Toronto, Ontario, to a loving mother of American descent and a father of Guyanese and Canadian heritage, granting her the unique privilege of dual citizenship.
As she navigated the halls of her high school, JaNae discovered her passion for the performing arts, joining the Improv team and landing the lead role in the school production of the iconic musical "Cabaret". Her talent and dedication did not go unnoticed, as she was invited to participate in the prestigious International Modeling and Talent Associations (IMTA) competition in Los Angeles in 2004.
To everyone's surprise, JaNae took home an impressive four awards, including the coveted "Actress of the year" title. This remarkable achievement marked the beginning of her illustrious career, as she transitioned from a promising track athlete to a rising star in the world of entertainment.
