Janine Windolph is a multifaceted professional with a diverse range of expertise, currently serving as the Director of Indigenous Arts at the esteemed Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
Prior to her current role, Windolph held various positions at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina, Saskatchewan, showcasing her versatility and adaptability. She began as the Curator of Community Engagement, fostering connections and building relationships within the community.
In addition to her curatorial role, Windolph also worked as a Storykeeper, Education Program Assistant, and Curator of Public Programs, demonstrating her ability to excel in multiple capacities.
As a passionate educator, Windolph teaches a wide range of skills and subjects, including beading, visual arts, photography, filmmaking, writing, storytelling, and Indigenous iconography. She brings her expertise to various settings, such as schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations, empowering students and communities with her knowledge and creativity.
