Jared Michael Kemp, a talented individual, was born on April 1, 1994, in the vibrant city of New York, where he was raised by his late father, Johnny Kemp, a renowned Bahamian singer, and his mother, Deirdre Fisher-Kemp.
As a young student, Jared developed a passion for acting while attending Wagner Junior Middle School, where his English teacher, Gail Badillo, introduced him to the world of Shakespeare. This sparked a creative fire within him, and he went on to participate in the Shakespeare Festival at the National Arts Club.
Jared's interest in drama only grew stronger as he continued his education at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. During his senior year, he showcased his talent in the Senior Showcase, earning the opportunity to play a lead role in Max Friedlich's play Sleepover, which was featured in the 2012 NYC Fringe Festival.
Jared's professional acting career began with his debut in the web series-turned-HBO series, High Maintenance, followed by his feature film debut in The Purge Election Year (Rondo). Since then, he has starred in various notable projects, including Luke Cage, Bull, Blue Bloods, and the SXSW award-winning film, First Match.
