Biography

Jarod Miller is a youthful and accomplished naturalist, zoologist, and pet expert, who has gained widespread recognition for his engaging lectures on captive management and wildlife conservation. He has had the privilege of presenting at prestigious venues such as the White House, solidifying his reputation as a leading authority in his field.

Prior to his current endeavors, Jarod served as the executive director of the Binghamton Zoo in Binghamton, New York, a position he held with distinction until his departure. At the age of 25, he became the youngest accredited zoo director in the United States, a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to his work.

Growing up in suburban western New York, Jarod spent a significant portion of his childhood outdoors, cultivating a deep appreciation for nature and the creatures that inhabit it. His fascination with zoos began at a young age, and he could often be found identifying the various animals that lived at the local zoo.

In 1996, Jarod founded his own wildlife production and education company, Wild Encounters, which has since taken him on numerous expeditions to over 13 countries around the world. This experience has not only broadened his knowledge of the natural world but also allowed him to share his passion with a wider audience.

Today, Jarod is the host of his own nationally syndicated television series, "Animal Exploration with Jarod Miller", as well as the co-host of "Pet Finder" and the reality show host of "America's Greatest Dog". Over the past decade, he has made over 100 appearances on national television, becoming a familiar face on popular shows such as "The Today Show", "Good Morning America", "The Early Show", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "The Rachael Ray Show", "Live with Regis and Kelly", and "The Tyra Banks Show", among many others.
