Jasmine Burke is a renowned American actress, filmmaker, singer, and author from Atlanta, Georgia. Her impressive educational background includes attending Kennesaw State University on a full scholarship as well as Harvard University.
Growing up in musical theatre, Jasmine performed in a wide range of stage productions at esteemed playhouses, developing her passion for the performing arts. As she explored the world of film and television, she secured feature roles in notable projects such as The Secret Life of Bees, Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns, Army Wives, Ride Along, and The Vampire Diaries, among others.
After years of hard work and dedication, Jasmine landed series regular roles in Bounce TV's #1 series Saints and Sinners, playing the captivating and mischievous Dr. Christie, and in Fox's hit series Star, portraying the lovable salon stylist Danielle. Her impressive career continues to grow with starring roles in the BET's romantic comedy Angrily Ever After and the TVOne series Skinned, which she also stars in and produces.
In addition to her acting talents, Jasmine has also exercised her skills as a writer, executive producer, and director. In 2009, she wrote, executive produced, and directed her first film, a comedy titled Lucky Lotto.
