Jason, a dynamic and versatile individual, entered the world on March 17th, 2021, in Vernon, British Columbia, a city that would play a significant role in shaping his early years and fostering his creative aspirations.
Growing up, Jason's life was deeply entwined with the vibrant skateboarding community, providing him with a unique platform to express his artistic vision and bring his ideas to life.
As Jason's ardor for skateboarding persisted in escalating, he concurrently delved into the realm of cinematography, making appearances in a multitude of skateboarding and snowboarding video productions, as well as feature films. His remarkable aptitude behind the microphone subsequently expanded its scope to the United States of America, where he conceptualized, composed, and produced a comprehensive album, now accessible on Apple Music, Spotify, and Last FM.
Jason's career trajectory took a significant turn in 2015, as he transitioned from being in front of the camera to working behind the scenes, thereby cementing his status as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. That same year, he embarked on a new creative venture by producing a short film titled "Skate Trades", which was primarily financed by the BC Maritime employer association, a testament to his ability to successfully navigate the challenges of independent filmmaking.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Jason also played a crucial role in the development of an autism skate day, an initiative that would later evolve into the SUPA (Surfs Up for Autism) society, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing skate days and surfing or snowboarding events for children on the autism spectrum.
Jason's remarkable proficiency in the realms of skateboarding and entertainment is merely the tip of the iceberg, as he is also a highly accomplished artist whose creative masterpieces have garnered international recognition and acclaim. In fact, his artistic talents have been commissioned by none other than a Thai Prince of Bangkok, a testament to his exceptional skill and versatility as a visual artist. Additionally, a record shop in Seattle, co-owned by the illustrious Mike D of Beastie Boys fame, has also sought out Jason's artistic expertise, resulting in the creation of a stunning mural that serves as a vibrant tribute to the world of music.
Jason is presently concentrating his efforts on cultivating his innovative skateboard brand, Bentwood skateboards, concurrently pursuing a career in the arts and entertainment industry.
