Jason McCrite, a talented individual, was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. His journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of fifteen, when his parents, after witnessing his impressive singing skills while singing in the mirror, encouraged him to pursue his passion.
This newfound enthusiasm led Jason to take singing, dancing, and acting lessons, which ultimately resulted in his appearance in a production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". From that moment on, he was hooked on the world of entertainment.
As he continued to hone his craft, Jason appeared in numerous stage productions, eventually attending the Academy of the Arts to study vocals and stage performance under the guidance of the late Dr. Scott L Martin, who had also coached renowned artists such as Michael Jackson and Barbara Streisand.
Upon graduating from the Academy, Jason signed with an agent and soon found himself landing roles in a dozen independent films, including comedies like "The Country Singer" and "Stay Off The App", which premiered at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival.
His breakout role in director Paul Winter's film, "Amber & Grace", led to a series regular position in the new series "Out West". Jason's impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, as he has recently played the role of Dave in the production "Camp Pleasant lake" alongside Michael Pera.
When he's not busy with his acting career, Jason enjoys a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, snowboarding, and running. He has also taken on a side project, renovating a rental property in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for his own personal enjoyment.
