Jason's professional film career began in the 1990s with his debut on the sets of Disney's "The Ernest Green Story" and "Stone Cold". Prior to this, he served in the United States Navy as a Cryptologist, but a Traumatic Brain Injury during his service led to facial reconstructive surgery at Pensacola Naval Hospital, leaving him with hardware in his face and scarring around his left eye.
Following his naval service, Jason stayed in Florida and pursued a career as a DJ under the moniker Madd Maxx Morgann, working at MTV's Spring Break shoot at Club La Vela in 1996. He later relocated to Arkansas, where he held managerial positions in retail and construction before opening his own board and card game retail business in 2001.
Ten years after his initial departure from acting, Jason took on a small role in the local feature "Anyone", marking his first performance in nearly 20 years. This led to him becoming increasingly involved with locally produced features and shorts, including winning "Best Film" for two consecutive years in the Little Rock 48 Hour Film Project.
Jason has since continued to seek out bigger and better projects, taking on leading and supporting roles in various productions, including stage performances in "Wait Until Dark", "A Streetcar Named Desire", "A Christmas Carol", "The Shawshank Redemption", and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".
As of 2024, Jason's resume boasts over 30 projects, including a YouTube collaboration with the NukaZooka team that has garnered over 17 million views. He has also appeared in several short and feature-length films, and is set to appear in upcoming releases such as "Freedom's Path", "Hellfire", "Ick", and "Sovereign".
