Jay Amor is a multi-talented professional with a vast array of skills and experience in the entertainment industry. As a stuntman, stunt driver, stunt actor, stunt coordinator, and 2nd unit director, he has worked on numerous projects, including films, television shows, and commercials.
With a career spanning over four decades, Amor has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) since 1979 and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) since 1980. His extensive background in gymnastics, springboard and platform diving, and motor sports has provided him with a unique set of skills that have been utilized in various stunts and action sequences.
Amor has had the privilege of working with some of the best stunt professionals in the industry and has spoken fluent Spanish, Italian, and English. Throughout his career, he has worked on over 190 films, 100 episodic TV shows, and 200 commercials, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and experienced stunt professional.
In addition to his impressive resume, Amor has also been a member of the National SAG AFTRA Stunt Safety Committee, prioritizing safety on set and ensuring that all stunt performers are protected. He is currently in development on several feature films that he will be producing in the near future.
In recent years, Amor has worked on notable projects such as Black Panther, MacGyver, Shaft, Queen of the South, and Nashville, showcasing his versatility as a stunt performer and actor. He has also had starring roles in several short films, including "The Passage".
Amor is based in Atlanta and South Florida, and is always available to lend a helping hand to his fellow stunt performers.
