Jean's journey began as a chorus skater with the Canadian version of the Ice Capades, Ice Follies. She eventually transitioned to Canadian television, where she achieved significant success as a comedic actress on the show Nightcap.
As her time with Nightcap drew to a close, Jean co-starred in two Canadian films alongside her sister Linda Smith, who adopted Jean's last name of Christopher for their second film, "Playgirl Killer".
In the mid-to-late 1960s, Jean moved to Hollywood, where she was under contract with Universal Studios. During this time, she appeared in the film Star!, starring Julie Andrews, as well as The Wild Wild West, Jim Henson's The Cube, and numerous other television shows and movies.
Jean was also a talented singer, making appearances on her sister Linda's show A Go-Go 66. By the 1970s, she formed a trio called The Caliope and performed on various Canadian television shows.
Throughout the 1970s, Jean continued to work in front of the cameras, appearing on numerous successful Canadian sitcoms and game shows. She then transitioned to working behind the cameras, starting as a Script Assistant and later as a Script Supervisor.
Over the course of approximately 20 years, Jean worked on at least 20 Canadian/American films and television shows. Unfortunately, Jean passed away on March 21st, 2022.
