Yanin "Jeeja" Vismitananda, a Thai actress and martial artist, was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother, Prasita Vismitananda, and father, Pawadol Borirak, a businessman, shaped her early life. Unfortunately, her father passed away when Yanin was just 17 years old, leaving her with an older brother, Nantapong "Jeed" Vismitananda.
Yanin's ancestry is predominantly Thai, with influences from English and Burmese cultures. She has been practicing Taekwondo since the age of 11 and holds a 3rd Dan black belt. In her acting career, Yanin has incorporated various martial arts moves, including Muay Thai and Thai Boxing, which she recently studied.
Yanin is an admirer of martial arts action films and has expressed her admiration for legendary actors like Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa, Jet Li, and Bruce Lee. Her latest action film is Chocolate 2 in 3D, and she co-starred with Tony Jaa in The Protector 2.
On August 29, 2012, Yanin announced that she was five months pregnant and engaged to Adrian Robert Bowden, a co-director of one of her films and the younger brother of the Thai singer Pamela Bowden. Yanin decided to suspend her work for the next two years to focus on her personal life. On January 22, 2013, she gave birth to her son, Jayden Bowden Vismitananda.
