Jeff Larson, a remarkably versatile and multifaceted individual with a profound passion for the art of writing and direction, currently resides in the vibrant and diverse city of Los Angeles, where he is surrounded by endless opportunities to hone his craft and bring his creative vision to life.

Prior to his relocation to the City of Angels, Larson's childhood was spent on a picturesque farm nestled in the heart of Northeast Ohio, where he developed a strong foundation in the principles of effective communication, which would later serve as the foundation for his academic pursuits.

Larson's academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University, a prestigious institution renowned for its rigorous academic programs and esteemed faculty. Throughout his time at John Carroll, Larson was able to refine his skills in communication, laying the groundwork for a successful career in the entertainment industry.

Now, as a seasoned professional in the world of writing and directing, Larson is poised to make a lasting impact on the entertainment industry, bringing his unique perspective and creative vision to the forefront of the industry.

In the year 2003, a pivotal and courageous move was made by Larson, as he chose to relocate to the vibrant city of Los Angeles, driven by a deep passion to pursue his Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production at the renowned Loyola Marymount University.

As a student at this esteemed institution, Larson had the opportunity to showcase his remarkable creative abilities by not only writing, but also directing and producing not one, not two, but three outstanding short films.

After successfully concluding his educational pursuits, Larson ventured into a professional career, affiliating himself with distinguished entities like KCET-PBS and Independent Media.

Throughout his professional tenure, he garnered an abundance of valuable experience by capturing behind-the-scenes footage for the esteemed Pirelli Group, which had the privilege of collaborating with celebrated directors Kathryn Bigelow and Uma Thurman.

In the autumn of 2010, a creative partnership was formed between filmmaker Bobby Roe and producer Zack Andrews, along with a talented individual by the name of Larson, to establish Foreboding Films, a production company that would go on to produce a variety of innovative and captivating films.

Their first collaborative project was a documentary that aimed to capture the essence of Halloween haunted houses in Dallas, Texas. The documentary, titled "The Houses October Built," was released in 2010 and showcased the team's unique approach to storytelling and filmmaking.

Two years later, in 2012, Larson and Foreboding Films decided to remake the documentary in collaboration with Fox/New Regency, a major film production company. The reimagined documentary, also titled "The Houses October Built," was released in theaters and on video-on-demand (VOD) platforms in October 2014.

The Blu-Ray edition of the documentary, which was made available at Best Buy, included the original 2010 documentary, written, co-directed, starred in, and shot by Larson himself. This addition provided fans with a unique opportunity to compare the original version with the reimagined version, showcasing the growth and evolution of the filmmakers' style and approach over time.

As a multifaceted creative force, Larson is dedicating his time and energy to the development and writing of fresh, original horror scripts, showcasing his versatility and innovative approach to the genre.

Currently, his primary focus is on securing financial backing for his ambitious, low-budget project, "Grandma," a horror/comedy that pays homage to the nostalgic charm of 80's cinema, blending elements of humor and fright to create a unique viewing experience.
