Jeff Rector is a multifaceted actor and award-winning filmmaker, renowned for his dynamic performances in major studio productions, independent feature films, and television, with an impressive portfolio of over 150 projects that span a wide range of genres, from action-packed thrillers to heartwarming holiday films.
As a filmmaker, Jeff's initial short film, a dark vampire comedy titled "Fatal Kiss," was picked up by HBO and later expanded into the feature "Revamped," which went on to receive global distribution with an all-star ensemble cast. With his versatility as a writer, director, and producer, Jeff continues to push the boundaries of storytelling, exploring new opportunities and promoting his best-selling memoir, among other projects in the works.
Jeff remains committed to creating impactful and engaging films that resonate with audiences worldwide, and as a proud EMMY Voter and Television Academy member in both the Producers and Performers Peer Groups, he is well-versed in the industry. Additionally, he is the Founder and President of AIMF (Artificial Intelligence Media Festival),a pioneering celebration of AI-powered films, music, art, and cutting-edge content, and serves as Festival Director for the Tarzana International Film Festival (TZIFF),where he champions independent voices from around the world.
Off-set, Jeff is just as driven, having served on the Burbank Cultural Arts Commission and the Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council, and actively supports causes close to his heart, including The American Heart Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Boys & Girls Club, and The Frontline Foundation, which serves LA's homeless on Skid Row. Jeff continues to serve his community with passion and purpose.
When he's not on screen, Jeff enjoys playing guitar and singing Karaoke, and has even performed stand-up comedy at various venues across the nation, including "The Comedy Store," "The Improv," "The Laugh Factory" in LA, "Caroline's" in NYC, and the "Hard Rock Hotel" in Las Vegas.
Jeff graduated from Moorpark College, where he starred in several theatrical productions and began writing, directing, producing, and editing as a telecommunications and drama major. He was then recruited by the school's forensics team and became a State and National Speech Champion. Jeff graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in speech and telecommunication.
In 2017, Jeff joined Toastmasters International (Speech Organization) and started competing, winning a variety of awards for "Table Topics," "Tall Tales," "International," and "Humorous" speech categories. Jeff is also a professional Spokesman, Host, and accredited Public Speaker.
Jeff is living his dream in Southern California and continues to share his art with the world. He is grateful for his loving parents, Joan and Harlan, for their encouragement, love, and support.
