Biography

Jeff Wood is an American actor with a career spanning over two decades, commencing at the tender age of five with on-screen appearances in commercials and television guest roles. In 1994, he secured a significant role in the Tony Award-winning revival of Carousel, directed by renowned director Nicholas Hytner, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

After a year with the production, Wood landed his first major television role as Austin Warren in the NBC sitcom In the House, starring alongside LL Cool J and Debbie Allen, which was produced by the esteemed Quincy Jones and Winifred Hervey. He spent the initial two seasons with the show before the series underwent creative changes when it transitioned to UPN.

Throughout his illustrious career, Wood has maintained a remarkable balance between his work, having performed as a principal in over a dozen commercials, as well as securing recurring and guest starring roles with various production companies and popular television series. Some of his notable credits include New York Undercover, The Parent 'Hood, Strong Medicine, and Sunset Beach, where he held a contract role as Jimmy Harrison from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to his television work, Wood has also ventured into live-action video game trailers, including the Destiny 2: New Legends Will Rise - Live Action Trailer in 2017. Furthermore, he has honed his skills in voiceover work, having lent his voice to the NBA 2K19 video game in 2018.
