Jeff Richards is a multifaceted creative force, exceling as a producer, director, and screenwriter of remarkable talent.
Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Richards' passion for the film arts was kindled from an early age. By the tender age of nine, he had already begun crafting short stories and adaptations, a creative outlet that would continue to evolve throughout his life.
By the time he reached the age of twenty-eight, Richards had not only completed his fourth full-length feature script but had also penned his most acclaimed work to date, the highly praised Christmasland, which has garnered widespread recognition nationwide.
Undeterred by conventional educational norms, Richards made the bold decision to forego college, instead choosing to pursue his artistic ambitions with unwavering dedication. He relocated to Richmond, Virginia, where he was able to hone his unique style and develop his distinct creative voice.
Following his return to West Virginia, Richards co-founded Completely Naked Productions, a venture that would go on to yield his directorial debut, the feature film Extreme Art.
Since then, Richards has continued to hone his craft, writing and directing numerous short films and fauxtrailers, including the internet phenomenon Hilljack Samurai, which has resonated with audiences worldwide.
Currently, Richards is busy working on a plethora of projects, including an untitled full-length feature film slated for release in 2011, a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft.
